The school has an enthusiastic and thriving School Council that meets regularly to discuss items arising from Class Council meetings and discussions with school staff.
Proposals and initiatives are shared across the school and decisions made accordingly.
Each class has an elected representative who remains in post for the whole academic year.
Candidates wishing to take up the post have to create a manifesto and canvass support via a ‘hustings’ prior to the election.
School Council representatives cannot hold the post for consecutive years.
This is to provide as many children as possible the opportunity of representing their class as part of the School Council.
If you require any further details or have any questions about the above, please contact the school directly via phone, email or letter. Alternatively, come into school and speak to one of our members of staff.
